EB5 qualifications Requirements.
The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program offers foreign investors and their families a direct path to U.S. permanent residency by making a qualifying investment in a U.S. commercial enterprise that creates or preserves at least 10 full-time jobs for American workers. The minimum investment is $800,000 in Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs) — rural or high-unemployment regions — and $1,050,000 in all other areas.
- ✓ 1. Investment Amount
$800,000 minimum in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA) — rural or high-unemployment.
$1,050,000 minimum in non-TEA projects. - ✓ 2. Qualifying Investment Type
Must be in a new commercial enterprise (NCE) formed after November 29, 1990, or an eligible restructured/expanded existing business. - ✓ 3. Job Creation Requirement
Must create or preserve at least 10 full-time, permanent jobs for qualified U.S. workers within two years. - ✓ 4. Lawful Source of Funds
You must prove the investment money came from lawful, documented sources (income, sale of assets, loans, gifts, etc.).
By meeting these qualifications, investors not only secure a pathway to U.S. residency but also contribute directly to the growth of the American economy. The EB-5 program is designed to benefit both the investor and the communities where the capital is deployed, creating jobs, fostering development, and opening doors to new opportunities for you and your family in the United States.
